Immigration is a topic that is almost always present in all international curriculums. In the IB appears in Language B, in ab Initio, Standard Level and High Level.This song will help us to understand the situation we are facing worldwide regarding immigration problems. It can be used as a starter for a unit focused on this topic, as a stimulus for a class debate, etc.
Consider having your students singing the songs, singing is a skill that has so many benefits for your students, if not they can always just listen to the song and do the activities. But remember that singing will be active learning while listening will be just passive.
